Hi everyone, my name is Samantha. I was a six week old kitten on life support when my meow ma found me at her vet’s office. A human had thrown me into a trash can. I was so cute and helpless that she adopted me on the spot and I went to live with her and my two sisters Lily and Charlotte. You should know that I am a very serious cat with a big responsibility. I am a watch cat. In fact, at my house I am known as Sam the Watcher, because I am on guard constantly against threats, real and perceived to my territory and my possessions. Chipmunks, birds, dogs, people no matter, trespassing in not allowed on my watch and heaven forbid if you touch any of my things without permission. Don’t get the wrong idea, I am a lovely purrson and I hope you will come by for a visit real soon. Just remember when you do, you can look but don’t touch anything… please. It makes me twitch.

Hello furriendz! My name is Scooby Doo Norris. I found meh home when I was very little. I was lost and very hungry, and I stumbled into nice yard with a mom lady, a little boy and another tortie. I gave them my most adorable look, and decided that they were cool enough for me. I have let them wait on me for about 14 years. My big sisfur Spencer went to the Rainbow Bridge almost 4 years ago, and we all miss her, but mom fosters lots of kittehs, so I have friends. I love tuna, sunbaths and catnip, and watching my human brother play X-Box. I hate the vacuum cleaner, the cat carrier and the vet. Good day ladies, my name is Tulula and I am a female 6 year old calico princess who has only just found my new forever home. For the most part I have had a very happy life living with my first human who was elderly and unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago. That was a very sad time for me because I was very scared and confused when I was taken from the only home I knew and placed in an animal shelter.
But my dark days did not last long as a family friend who always loved me found out that I was in a shelter and came rushing to my rescue.
21/01/2011 is the day I came to live in my new forever home with my new mumsy that loves me so very much she said that her heart is bursting with love for me. I am still a little scared of my new environment but at the same time my curious nature makes it all equally as exciting.
My new mumsy also got me a twitter @tulula6 but we have to share her Facebook page :D
I am happy once again and feel very safe.... ♥

Hi Folks, I'm Jazz. I'm 16 years old and my new mummy has been looking after me for 2 years after my old mummy became ill and couldn't look after me. I have to have medication for my arthritis and slight kidney failure, and I live with three other felines. Boy I like it here as there is lots of space to roam if I feel like it and loads of beds in different places, one next to the radiator which is my favourite...oh and did I tell you I have my own room at night in case Mickey bashes me...so hehe Mickey you don't have your own room....

Born on the 30th October 2003, I'm almost a Halloween cat, but as a Tortie that would have been inappropriate, and I was raised to be a lady. My first home was with a lovely older lady who treated me marvelously, while allowing me my personal space. We did not display our emotions in an untoward fashion, but enjoyed the comfort of knowing the other was there. When my lovely lady went over the Rainbow Bridge I was entreated to train two young furless the way to serve a cat. Unfortunately their continuous sneezing upset my nap patterns & I requested more equitable accommodations. The inadequacy of the biped nation was highlighted when they suggested I live in a concrete cage with a nasty grey little fluffy cat with sharing issues. The ignominy of ending up in this situation on my 8th birthday is a scar I will carry for life. Four weeks would pass before humum & dada staff would take me home. They made we wait two weeks after meeting me & accepting my love, so that I could move into an air conditioned abode. These people understand standards. They subject me to a pipsqueak calico called Captain Worm-Sparrow of all things, but I'll whip her into shape...... eventually. Anyway her silly antics, which are beneath me, cheers humum, which is often desperately needed.

Humum types collectively for myself & The worm on twitter. We love our anipals and were so excited to join the #wlf & get our beret. Finally The Ladies of Autumn is something I can have for myself, as The Worm is currently no lady!

The staff are slowly realizing my needs, I have a lovely new condo,with caves for me, separated from perches for The Worm, finally I am being fed real game, though they leave that dried stuff out too, just cause it says science. I like to sleep between humum & dadstaff with TheWorm banished, which dada staff prefers too. Once The Worm can be contained, cause she has no self-control, I'll be out on one of the three balconies sunning myself in time for winter. For now I shall enjoy the moderated in-door temps, soft furnishings & food, while tolerating the bipeds adoration.

Mom "rescued" me on 12/31/11. Her daughter knew the daughter of my owner, who wants to get rid of her pets. We lived in a house with 10 humans, including 2 babies, a dog and several cats who are neglected. They don't get the cats spayed so they keep having kittens. There is no love in this home for animals and no toys. After Autumn died, Mom was allowed to bring one pet into her apartment. Her daughter had told her how affectionate I am, so they came and got me. I had fleas and worms, but was otherwise healthy, luckily.

I now live in a home where there is love, and a houseful of toys! Mom bought a new kitty condo after she brought me home. Phoebe and I get along well and chase each other all over the apartment! I love it here!

I almost forgot! I'm a polydactyl! I have 7 toes on each front paw. Mom's not sure about my back paws cos I won't let her see them!

I am 7 yrs old and 4 yrs ago I was rescued from the RSPCA after I was hit by a car and broke both my back legs.
I live with my mum, dad and sister Mia in the lap of luxury. I expect and demand the highest level of affection and care and cannot be expected to manage on anything less than 21 hours of sleep a day.
I love my home and my family. But I am a creature of habit and will not accept any form of intruder within the grounds of the family estate. I have a busy schedule so I expect dinner times to be prompt. X

I love to curl up on my moms lap, eat treats, I especially love wet catfood and cheese. I live in the country and I love to hunt mice, voles, moles and lizards. I have a brother and sister, both dogs, and I have 17 other feathered siblings (chickens). I usually spend my days outside (which I prefer) but when it's cold or rainy I get to come inside. I used to be a stray without a home, but my mom rescued me and gave me somewhere safe to live.

We, her Doctor and I have worked very hard to enable her able to enjoy her life and all the love she has received and that she freely gave back, but she was tired and whispered it was time to go. She flew away and took my heart with her. I will always love her and I will always miss her. She was the most loving girl I could ever have been fortunate enough to have. We have just sailed that sea of grief and tears as far as we were able to go together. Thank you darling girl, for choosing me to take care of you and love you these fourteen years. To all of her friends, thank you from the bottom of my heart for caring about my girl in the last stages of her illness. You have truly been a comfort. Much love to you all.'

It's been another hectic year for Admiral Hestorb. I gather she has spent a considerable amount of time supervising the outfitting of five squadrons of vessels used to escort ships across treacherous waters in what I would imagine was an extremely dangerous classified operation. She also got married on 29th October 2011 to her sweetheart, Nik. And when she is not on the high seas or in her love nest, Lady Bianca has been oozing autumnal charm all over Twitter and the World Wide Web via her many Blog concerns. Dear Ladies,

I wondered if anyone was interested in taking over the authoring and editing responsibilities of The Ladies Of Autumn Blog? I have not been able to give our lovely alliance the attention it deserves. I am also not comfortable with actively recruiting new members, I tend to leave the enquiries to trickle through to me. I am happy to alert people to the existence of our group but if people do not respond then I do not persue them. As a result, there has not been much activity on the Blog and no new members for a while. My typist tends to spend more time on Facebook too and worries that the Blog is becoming somewhat neglected. Ideally, the new editor would take over The Ladies Of Autumn Facebook page too. The Facebook Group ticks along quite nicely without much intervention.

Dear Charybdis & Jess both passed away in the month of December. The Ladies Of Autumn would like to send their regards to the friends and family of both lovely girls. We are thinking of you and your loss. Thousands of miles separate the members but the love we have unites us. It makes us stronger and can help us in difficult times. Harvest Moon refurbishment update:

The Ladies Of Autumn Cocktail Lounge, Harvest Moon, is currently undergoing major refurbishment. I had hoped to have our lounge open by now but the specifications have been altered several times to accommodate our needs. I wanted the finished result to be nothing less than perfect.

The cellar has been converted into a habitable space and this has been divided into several rooms to which I refer as Scout's Suites. Scout will be able to use these rooms for quiet reflection and to create her Blingees in peace. I will place a spittoon in a room without lampshades as requested and this will provide an area in which Scout can behave in an un-ladylike manner.

There are several intimate lounges on the top floor. Leaves Lounge is dedicated to Nike and has a Grecian theme. Fancy statues and so forth have been ordered. The Pussy Willow Lounge, named by Mitalee, provides a private area for couples. When designing this lounge, I considered the needs of newly-weds, particularly Admiral Hestorb and her husband, Nik.

I have also created an extension to the ground floor for Vanilla's Boudoir, a members-only facility in which our very supple Whitstable Cat showcases her bowl dancing prowess. On the second floor, I have crafted a large library and music room for those Ladies seeking culture and knowledge (Rossini & Lady Gaga on the juke box for MoMo).

I have to submit the planning application by 09:00 GMT Wednesday 23rd November, if anyone would like to suggest any changes or additions to our Harvest Moon Cocktail Lounge Complex, please let me know.

Scout's Synchronised TLOA Leg Rub

We all cozy up to our owners -- or whatever human is in the house at the time -- as a joint show of thanks. How about 10 p.m. Greenwich/London time? I think Scout deserves a big round of applause for a fantastic idea. I struggled to find a nice photograph of a Lady Of Autumn rubbing a humans leg in appreciation so here I am. I did not really get into the spirit of the human leg rub although a #tloalegrub did occur. When faced with the choice of human or chair, I opt for a nice chair leg rub every time.
